generation act awards
@theleapbd
Generation Act Awards are looking for motivated individuals and groups of students who are in full-time or part-time education with Bradford College who passionately believe that creativity, arts and culture can make a real difference in addressing climate change and promoting sustainability within their communities.
The Awards help you bring your ideas to life by offering funding and support. It’s all about backing creative projects that spread the word about climate change, encourage more eco-friendly lifestyles, and get people taking positive action for the planet. Big change takes persistence. We’re looking for students who will keep going, overcome challenges, and turn their ideas into action.
Your project must use arts, creativity, or culture to explore climate change, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
Generation Act Awards will prioritise support for ideas that reach people within Bradford College or places in Bradford and Keighley where engagement with arts, culture and climate conversations is known to be low.
What will successful applicants receive?
Up to £500 as an Award to support delivery of your project.
The Award can either be given directly to the applicant, their carer or a nominated organisation.
One to one support via The Leap team whose role is to offer guidance and advice to help your project succeed.
Tools and resources that help you deliver your project and tell your journey (evaluation). You won’t be doing this alone – we'll support you along the way. All we ask is that you stay committed and complete your project.
Connections with other organisations’ and individuals who can help support your project.
