It will feature photographic portraits and personal narratives to honour their resilience, generosity, and community spirit.

This book celebrates Bradford’s diverse narratives. Through a collection of short stories, poems, and essays, local writers reframe the city beyond stereotypes. The project featured creative writing workshops and culminated in a vibrant book launch at Theatre in the Mill, uniting community voices in a shared literary celebration
DOD (Dancing on Difficulties) by Mohammed Saeed
The project aims to promote mental and physical health within the community by addressing challenging situations and fostering emotional release. Through creative expression, particularly dance, participants will channel their skills to transform negative emotions into art, benefiting both the community and the dancers involved
Steppers by McKenzie Jayne Caines Mckie
Steppers is a youth-focused initiative that combines the discipline and creativity of dance with the supportive and social environment of a traditional youth club. Targeting young people aged 11-16 from under-represented communities, the project addresses barriers such as economic hardship, social isolation, and limited access to extracurricular activities.
Doodle diaries by Ellie Woodcock
Ellie is compiling a doodle booklet with poem starters designed to help children aged 7-12 express and understand their emotions, aiming to improve their mental health through creative engagement. Instead of full poems, the booklet provides prompts to let children write in their own words, enhancing personal expression.
