Bradford Heritage Festival Awards
This Award supports local groups, community organisations and individuals to develop activities as part of the Bradford Heritage Festival, a week-long celebration of the district’s history, heritage, culture and communities which will take place between the 13th July 2027 - 19th July 2027. The £500 awards are available in the build-up to the festival and can support activities such as guided walks, talks, exhibitions, workshops, family activities, traditional crafts, performances and projects exploring Bradford’s industrial, cultural and community heritage. The awards provide a way for local people to contribute directly to the festival, share their stories and celebrate the heritage of their communities.
This award must take place in the build up week to the Bradford Heritage Festival 5th July 2027 - 12th July 2027
Projects should include how activities can be planned and delivered in environmentally responsible ways. Environmental sustainability does not need to be a separate activity within your project. We encourage organisations to consider how sustainable approaches can be embedded throughout the planning and delivery of their work, while remaining appropriate to heritage.
