This project was a co-curated a series of creative writing and spoken word workshops with a final performance that engaged and consulted with young people using Keighley Youth Service. The programme ensured that the voices, ideas and aspirations of young people from Keighley were heard from the outset, and helped shape the programme from the start. Spoken word workshop days led by professional Northern poets Lauren Butler, Simon Pickles, LENCE and Toria Garbutt. REALITY was an opportunity to connect and listen to young people across Keighley and link local services and organisations to develop strong connections and unity in Keighley.
