Age groups: 6-12 yrs old 

As part of the SENDiverse Festival we invite children aged 6–12 with SEND to join a creative, sensory storytelling workshop at the Shipley Library. 

The session begins with an interactive story brought to life using props, movement, visuals, and sound, sparking children’s imaginations. Following the story, participants will co-create their own imaginary world using tactile and sensory materials—fabrics, recycled objects, cardboard, and soft textures—building an art installation they can explore and shape. 

Children will also design soundscapes with instruments, voices, and body percussion, and add scents using natural fragrances like citrus, cinnamon, and lavender, engaging multiple senses in playful expression.
