The Big Bang is an amazing celebration of creativity, joy and belonging and is a culmination of a week of awesome activities led by Bradford and Keighley’s SEND communities. It brings together families, young people, cultural organisations, and service providers in one vibrant, inclusive gathering.
This will be a fun-filled family day with loads to see, do, and explore — both indoors and outdoors!

The Big Bang is all about celebrating creativity, having fun together, and exploring new experiences. Come along, get stuck in, and make memories!
Food
You’ll be able to grab a juicy burger, drinks, sweets and popcorn. If you prefer, you can bring your own picnic lunch and snacks.
Interactive performances! Join in as our talented artists sing, dance, act and show off their incredible talents. Be part of the action, not just the audience!
Hands-on fun! You can try out dj decks, performance workshops and make items to take home. Experience animal encounters and drop-in to learn some circus skills. Get crafting with nature and join in with Makaton signed singing and making sessions.
Check out the Zen Zone to de-stress and chill out - spend time in the Zen Den.
Enjoy Life Play for the under 8s, with signed Makaton storytelling, colourful face painting and a quiet space for feeding babies.

Life Play includes a Sensory Room and the quiet hall features the Zen Den.
