Participants will create their own take-home artwork — a canvas or tote bag — using safe-to-use, indoor, water-based spray paint and stencils. The session is deliberately short, simple and low-pressure, giving every participant, regardless of ability, an equal opportunity to take part and produce something they're genuinely proud of.
I will guide the group step by step: choosing a stencil, positioning it, and applying colour using the spray paint, with one-to-one support available throughout for anyone who needs it. The water-based paint and controlled, indoor application make the activity safe and low-sensory-impact, and the stencil-based method means no drawing or fine motor precision is required to achieve a great result — removing a common barrier for children with physical disabilities or motor difficulties.
The structure is intentionally flexible: participants can work at their own pace, take breaks as needed, and the activity can be scaled up or down in complexity depending on the individual. This makes it well suited to autistic and ADHD participants who benefit from clear, achievable steps and a defined start and end point, as well as to those with speech, language and communication needs, since the activity requires minimal verbal instruction and can be demonstrated visually.
The core benefit is a genuine creative outcome: a finished piece of wearable/usable artwork (a tote bag or canvas) that participants keep and can be proud of, drawing on my background delivering hands-on graffiti and street-art-based workshops to young people.
