Get ready to explore, play and create at our Creative & Sensory Celebration! Children and young people can discover music and rhythm with drums, shakers, rain sticks and ocean drums, enjoy glowing lights and colourful sensory materials, and express themselves through scarves, ribbons and movement. There’s no right or wrong way to join in – participants can explore the different activities at their own pace and enjoy a fun, creative experience filled with sound, colour, movement and imagination.

Designed with SEND children and young people in mind, the session offers a calm, low-stimulus and supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable taking part. Predictable routines, visual cue cards, soft lighting, clear transitions, accessible instruments and optional quiet space help support sensory, communication, attention and anxiety-related needs. Children can communicate through gesture, AAC, vocalisation or shared interaction and choose the level of sound, movement and sensory input that works for them, with flexible seating and individual support available where needed.
