The Create Your Own Story activity at Thornbury Community Library is specifically designed for children with SEND needs with their parents to engage in an interactive painting and arts session.

The children will be led through various story prompts, following the story of a very special puppet friend, giving the children a chance to paint/draw/write/creatively express their storylines until they have a completed story book made from their own imaginations! At the end of the session, we will read each others stories to the group interactively. We hope to print copies of the children's stories to proudly display their talents in our community library! Come along for just one day or come all four! This is a chance for parents to engage meaningfully with their children and to celebrate their creativity and talent!

Booking advised. Drop-ins also welcome.

Please email Alice alice@thethornburycentre.co.uk with your child's name and age to register and which days you'd like to attend.
