understanding community led culture in bradford and keighley

The Leap are teaming up with York St John University to deliver an exciting new project about community-led culture in Bradford and Keighley.

Through participatory research with The Leap’s award holders, the project will explore what cultural leadership means to local people and what encourages someone to step forwards and take up a leadership role.

we’re looking for a team of peer researchers

To help shape and deliver the project between september 2025 and june 2026. this is an opportunity to:

· Share your ideas on what community-led culture means to you

· Receive training and support with research and interviewing skills

· Conduct interviews with The Leap’s award holders

· Take part in participatory research events in Bradford, including a Citizen’s Assembly

This is a paid opportunity, funding through YPIP (Yorkshire Policy Innovation Partnership).
