logo

Our leaping logo visually amplifies our mission of giving people a platform to take the leap and perform. The logo is available in both a static and animated version. We’re proud of our new logo and we want to protect it as much as possible, so please take note of the guides below.

colour

The options for the logo are simple, black or white. Black should be our go-to choice, on a white background.

As a general rule darker backgrounds should use the white logo and lighter backgrounds should use the black logo.

clearspace

We always want the logo to be nice and visible without any interference from other design elements. Leaving space around the logo helps it to stand out. As a general rule leave the height of the leaping ‘A’ clear all around the logo – free of images, logos and text.

When space is at a premium, we can go smaller, using just the height of the ‘A’ without the platform underneath. Remember, this is a minimum – the more space the merrier.

portrait placement

the go-to position

To amplify the leaping letters within our logo it should sit on the bottom margin, in the left or right corner.

alternative position

If it’s simply not possible for the logo to be positioned bottom left or right, the top corners can be used.

portrait logo sizes

There are no set logo sizes for portrait formats, however as a general rule the logo is 1/3 of the overall width of a portrait page, excluding margins. Ensure the margin size does not fall below the minimum clearspace – outlined above.

horizontal placement

the go-to position

To amplify the leaping letters within our logo it should sit on the bottom margin, in the left or right corner or the format.

alternative position

If it’s simply not possible for the logo to be positioned bottom left or right, then alternatively the top corners can be used.

horizontal logo sizes

There are no set logo sizes for horizontal formats, however as a general rule the logo is 1/4 of the overall width of a portrait page, excluding margins. Ensure the margin size does not fall below the minimum clearspace – outlined above.

partnerships

We work with many different partners to support community-led projects. The example below shows how much space to leave between logos, using the height of the leaping ‘A’ from our logo. This is a minimum, the more space the merrier.

guide

Here’s a few things to avoid when applying the logo to a piece of communication:

Only use the logo files supplied. Do not type it out using the ‘take the leap’ font.

Be careful not to stretch or distort the logo. Always scale the logo up or down proportionally.

Do not rotate the logo in any direction.

The logo should only ever be black or white. Never use colour in the logo.

Do not contain the logo in another shape.

Ensure there is enough clearspace around the logo, free of images, graphics or logos.
