giving credit

Credit, where credit is due. We are going big on ensuring our communications always put a spotlight back on the community talent we promote. We’re a platform for showcasing community-led projects across Bradford and Keighley, which is why we credit the people we support in all our communications both on and offline – creating an opportunity for the projects we support to get noticed and have a life beyond their original debut.

primary positioning

The go-to positioning for our lead hero images. Use ‘Silka Semi-Bold’ for overlaying a social media handle or hashtag on an image. The text should be positioned centrally at a size that is nice and visible. Use the height of the lowercase letters to position the text both horizontally and vertically.

credit colours

Credits should be set in either black or white – whichever provides the best contrast when overlaid onto an image. Always ensure there is plenty contrast – ensuring the credit nice and readable.

alternative font & positioning

We can also use the take the leap font for crediting people and projects. Credits do not have be positioned over an image, they can be above or below if the contrast between the image and text is too difficult to achieve.
